a decade is ten years. ffvii was released in 1997. this past decade would have been from 2000 to 2009.

the video game categories don't make any sense. why no wii up there?

no jafomac, a decade is ten years, any ten years. but when it comes down to decades as used here,
it's from 2000 to the end of 2009. using your logic the roaring twenties didn't include 1920, or
the fifties didn't include 1950, just wrong. worse still with your theory the sixties would
include 1970, sorry but that just isn't the way it works.
