Another Torrent Site shuts down (ScT)

trackers are so last year... i\'ll enjoy watching these people scratch their heads trying to come up
with a method to stop dht and magnet links. they\'ve been fighting a losing battle for the last 10-15
years and they\'re too dense to realize it.

trackers are old news nowadays, it's time for dht and magnet links now.

so what does this have to do with tv news?

it's related to the fact that shutting sites down won't crush torrents.

if you look above you'll see the words tv news....there's a reason they specified tv news on a tv
torrent site that's all about sharing tv shows and views on tv shows. are you sensing a trend? it's
very simple why they did that....it's because they wanted to keep all the news on this site specific
to basis of the site...television. a random torrent site shutting itself down has nothing to do with
anything on this site...sorry you can't see that.

does eztv realize that tpb and isohunt are still active and going strong? if they aren't then i'm in
a heap of trouble because i have been getting quite a bit of useful material from those two sites.
hey, at least i can still go to this great place to get my tv shows. long live eztv and their very
useful and interactive site!

i am saddened that mininova has "died". i used to get a lot of stuff there. but if history has
taught us anything...if you kill one torrent site then ten more will sprout up. let's hope that a
few of them are as good and well financed to take on the corrupt riaa and mpaa. if those two
organizations did not set the price of movie tickets, dvd movies and music cd with low quality
content so high then maybe people would not have to resort to watching low quality cams, movie
dvdrips and downloading music cds just to hear that one great song along with 11 other crappy songs.
the riaa and mpaa subscribe to the gordon gecko motto..."greed is good." they figure that the more
"pirated" material is out there then that would mean less money for them in the long run. not
really. i had never heard of nickleback until a few years ago. i downloaded one of their cds and
liked their style. i have since then bought all of their cds and gave some to my friends too. so i
might have "stolen" $25 from them at one point, but i gave back to them $25*20=$500. the riaa and
mpaa should be on their hands and knees begging people to share "pirated" content. how else are
people going to be exposed to new content if the high costs of legal content is so expensive. i
remember when barnes and nobles and borders first opened. they had kiosks where people could listen
to a variety of music. now they still have it, but you have to buy tokens to purchase listening time
on the kiosks. hey, at least they don't charge us to use their bathrooms....at least not yet!

it's tv news, the torrent sites provide tv shows, the obvious escapes you. 😎

it may say 'tv-news' but you shouldn't take it so literally. this is also a torrent website, and
other torrent sites effect each other and that in turn effect the tv show distribution; aka 'tv-news'.

one recent example...
as novaking stated, mininova shutting down has caused extra stress on eztv's servers and the site
has been down numerous times due to that.
