i saw this coming after last night i just said to my self this look's good but.... something is
wrong about this show. past week syfy has put the old v on tv my god that was a bad show.
i remember 80's tv very well. you could set your watch to the shows every week. now they move shows
around like it's no big deal then wonder why they fail. they call shows a hit after one episode or stop
making it based on one night of ratings. anyone notice how hbo swept the awards this year? network tv
is all screwed up now, it's no wonder they are losing to cable networks.
i sure hope this doesn't stick i really enjoyed the premier last night. who know maybe the remanding
3 eps this year will kill it in ratings and give them no choice but to keep it going. if not i blame
it on alan tudyk seems like whatever show hes on has some sort of trouble firefly, dollhouse, now
this, but dont get me wrong i love him as an actor the guy is just bad luck.
the report doesn't say anything about the series being in danger because of its ratings. that
wouldn't be much of a problem since viewers come and go as they please. the problem here is
creative; they don't know what to do with the show.
someone said "hey, i've got it! let's do a remake of v!" and someone else said "yeah! and we can
have these hot aliens and... and... stuff! yeahhh, dude! awesome idea!" some sweet talking a harried
young exec looking for a promotion and bang! they got greenlighted. the problem is that all their
"magnificent" ideas got them only 4 good (or what passes for good today) episodes and after that hit
a wall and don't know what to put in the remaining 9 eps. so the had to take a break, rethink some
things and hope for a miracle.
*sigh* with people like this running things, it's no wonder network tv has so many problems.
