worth mentioning that episodes 5 and 6 of the current series of sarah jane, already available on eztv, also feature the
doctor.

can't say i blame him. the show took his character as far as non-humanly possible and his theater career is taking off. so
why not make a clean break and leave as the producers are as well.

the fun aspect of the show is that it can reinvent itself, taking it in unexpected directions.
