i'm sure i speak for a great many people here: condolences to all of his friends and family, and
fond farewells to man who helped define a generation. rest well, 'the swayze' - you fought long and
hard and gave us some real good times along the way.
i wish they would stop showing just clips from dirty dancing of him. he was a talented and rounded actor and will be missed.
he did so much and in more than just one genre of movie, i hope they show some respect and show more of his body of
work. he was a decent man, a family man and it was obvious from how some of his co-stars were so moved they couldn't
comment as they were too upset, that was how liked he was. the man was a class act.
he will be sorely missed by millions.
for me, he'll always be dalton - roadhouse is one of the great movies of all time.
condolences to his family and friends
i just finished watching the whole season of "the beast" and i really enjoyed it.
i am also absolutely amazed how he managed to maintain his acting skills through his illness - we
all know how stressful an actor's life can be during shooting.
seeing him in his role as charles barker and also seeing how the cancer obviously got to him i do
have nothing but the utmost respect for this man.
