hope it continues...
and in my opinion i don't want to see another "firefly".
one thing continue to amaze me: shows like 90210, buffy, and other tv junk goes for 1234 episodes
and 67 seasons and the good shows keep being cancelled and making one or two seasons.
well it wasn't the best show ever written but it was a far cry from the worst. i felt it was
starting to improve a lot. i hope someone airs the last episodes so we get to see them.
abc cant cancel the show, it is made and run by ctv, a canadian company, all abc can do is stop
airing the episodes. it also doesnt help that they never promoted the show!
up here in canada we have a tendency to run our shows for the whole season. but i just read on the
ctv forum:
"in the news, despite taking low number of audience each week, "defying gravity" will still escape from
being cut. the show's publicist, nicole marostica, issued a statement that abc is not giving up on the
show and is still figuring out a time slot to air the last 5 episodes of season 1. marostica didn't give any
indication though on when roughly the show will return on screen."
which might give the show one last chance. personally i really like the show and how it was portrayed,
and if they keep producing episodes like the one that just passed us by on sunday there shouldn't be
any reason why numbers won't go up.
the same thing happened with kings they never advertised it even during the episode itself so what
would they expect to happen.
man, this show has a great concept that hasn't been done before. there really has never been a tv
drama about the exploration of the solar system before and it really intrigued me. i just have to
find out what that beta thing in pod 4 is, because the anticipation is killing me. it's like when they
canceled the 4400, i was all worked up to see the next season and then the writer's strike happened
and killed it's chances. please don't die, your the only new show that has premiered this year that i
actually like (so far). someone needs to start an internet petition.
well if it does get taken off of abc maybe syfy could pick it up like they did with andromeda (which
originally aired on upn in the us) and stargate sg-1 (which originally aired on showtime). but
that's just wishful thinking.
