Defying Gravity, we hardly knew ye

well, i liked it.

god i can't wait until people tire of "reality" shows. i hate them! all of them. i'd rather watch
paint dry.

so, i guess i'd better head for the hardware store and stock up on brushes and rollers....

it was a perfectly fine, average science fiction show, there are far worse shows that don't get
cancelled... at least they could air all the remaining episodes.

yeah, that was the problem. they kept pushing it as "grey's anatomy in space" which was really
stupid. it attracted the wrong demographic, and pushed away the right one. i almost didn't watch the
pilot, and continue watching the rest of the season. it's a pretty decent science fiction show with
solid production values and nice special effects.

i (and i believe many others) am just sick of these wankers(cable & tv's upper management) putting
on new shows getting us interested and then cancelling them, and then they wonder why ,when they do
trial a new show , no wants to watch it or get involved.
we're all getting a bit sick of getting the rug pulled out from under us.

this is shite, i was looking forward to the next episode. fair enough the show gets cancelled, but why
not do it at the end of the season though??

bah, what a pile of crap.

this was a decent enough show, it was never going to be grey's anatomy, and billing it as such was
retarded. i thought this show also had some british and german money behind it as well as us and
canadian..... maybe it can find a home out of the us....

abc is screwed up as our gov. ... they are so out of touch. i thot it was the best tv all summer and
had just found out about it.. i started telling all my friends and family about. it.. now they will
replace it with some piece of shiii t tv wouldnt it be nice if they could see that it would doing
great only if they gave it some time... duuuuu a firefly.... mess up . all over again.. here's the
reality... they suck at picking good shows to promote and stay with.. dumbasses.

i had never heard any of the grey's anatomy comparisons, and i think think if more people had
ignored hype and popular opinion the show would have been better off. i agree with many that this
show was doing just fine for what it was hoping to be, and i was genuinely interested in where it
would go. it had a pretty solid cast and a storyline that definitely had some places to explore. i
am really tired of watching shows that i really start to like get thrown by the wayside before they
ever get a chance. also, reality shows suck. amazing race is the only one i've ever enjoyed and
that's more of an adventurous game show than anything.

i whole-heartedly agree... i very much enjoyed this show and really wanted to know what "beta" was...

hate it when decent shows get cancelled...

- two guys and a girl
- stargate (though it had a good run and is coming back again as sg:u)
- terminator: tscc
- arrested dev
- defying gravity

why dont they cancel all the reality tv and show some good shows that are not aimed at people that
have sad lives and just want to watch wanabees try and get there 15 minutes of fame for acting like
complete dicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never watched greys anatomy (not idea what it is about either), but i'm more of a sci-fi buff,
which is the reason i started watching it. it had a good cast, lots of money and good graphics.
unfortunately, the writing/story line was horrible. if they just kept the flashbacks to an absolute
minimum, it would have been an interesting show had the story line been contiguous. i stopped
watching it after episode 4 (after giving it a couple chances because there was nothing else to
watch :/)

i just checked out the ctv web site and the show is still on the listings for next week. we will have to
wait and see if they show it or not.

hope it continues...
and in my opinion i don't want to see another "firefly".
one thing continue to amaze me: shows like 90210, buffy, and other tv junk goes for 1234 episodes
and 67 seasons and the good shows keep being cancelled and amking one or two seasons.

oh come on! i just started watching this show yesterday ☹️
i was starting to like it.. i totally agree with what some of the others here said. so many new
shows are getting canceled when they shouldnt be!!!
