should supernatural end. wow that's a question now isn't it? i just re-watched the finale of season
4 wondering that same thing. my answer: i don't know. and here's why i say that. for the first three
seasons of this television series, we have seen many things that were very predictable. it's like we
knew what was coming in the first ten minutes of the show. but the fourth season really changed
that. i have to say, the end result where you find out ruby's plot was absolutely phenomenal. i had
no idea that's how it would happen. looking back at what happened makes me wonder if there should be
a sixth season or not. if it ended at five, then i can tell it would be a great ending, but
honestly, fighting lucifer is saying a whole lot. hell on earth is saying a whole lot. joss whedon
didn't even go there with angel. he let that carry on into his comic series, as we saw in that awful
cliff hanger in the finale. it seems like it would take more than one season to tell that kind of
story, although with kripke's writing and mcg's production, i wouldn't doubt they could pull it off.
but lets say it happens this way. sam ends up on lucifer's side in the end and dean ends up on
god's. kind of makes for a lame sixth season idea. it would probably end up them trying to get back
to one another and basically make the whole fifth season pointless. lets say they stick together and
they beat lucifer. what more can they really do? i mean they defeated the devil for crying out loud?
i say lets see where kripke goes with this one. it has the potential to drag on, but i'd give it a
few episodes to judge and see how it unfolds.
