St. Elmo's Fire may be reignited as a television series.

i can just imagine the token minority characters they're going to add to the cast..

gonna suck, no mccarthy, no lowe, who are they gonna get to replace them? there are just no young
actors that can pull off billy like rob lowe did.

aw come on, don't be defeatist. (okay, i can't think of anybody either but that doesn't mean they
don't exist.)

let's rescue dule hill from psych (what an awful show), there you got your minority and a really
terrific actor. and the only reason i remember this one enough to remember his name was because of
his work on the west wing with (ta da!) rob lowe. there are no coincidences.

the show will live or die on the strength of its ensemble cast, that's a given. and guinevere isn't
the only pessimist in the room on that one (count me in there too). but it could be possible to have
a breakout really good show, if the cast is strong and if the writing is good.

hey, why not get rob lowe to recreate a character here? surely someone can convince him that he's
not exactly doing all that well staring in his own creations. and i'd love to see his pretty face
again, even in a loser show.
