tv-news is not the place for this! there's a reason it's called "*tv* news" and not "ask-whatever-is-on-
your-mind-because-you're-too-lazy-to-look-in-the-appropriate-place news".
and then we wonder why the forum and comments remained closed for so long...
the listener is a fall tv show in canada. i do not know if it is scheduled for next season. however
i am guessing it probably will be. they left some major things to continue with in the season
finale. nbc picked up the first season for syndication during the spring/summer the 13th and final
episode of the first season aired in the us on 6/4. so while no this show hasn't technically been
canceled yet its season has completed airing in the us.
well they are airing the rest of this season in canada (and nbc put all of the episodes on their
website when they cancelled) but i don't think an official pick up for a second season has been
ordered yet. at one point before the us premier, an official behind the show said something along
the lines of not actually needing the nbc to continue on in the event that it didn't work out. i
just did a quick search for links on the topic and can't find it at the moment. i believe someone
linked to it in the show's thread on televisionwithoutpity.com near the time that nbc announced the
cancellation.
