novaking: i'm not sure its a server load problem. comcast & verizon seem to be dropping packets to
ezrss.it here is a thread on the issue:

did you even read what i said? i bought a new server to overcome this issue.
meilon Posted at 30/08/2009, 08:47
i can access ezrss.it but there is one major problem with it: shows are not up to date! eureka for
example stops with episode 3x14! when will ezrss.it be usable again?
J_169 Posted at 30/08/2009, 11:33
episode numbers dont auto-download with the ezrss feed. there is a gap which makes it not work which
needs changing back. eg (4 x 8 instead of 4x8) it doesnt recognize the numbers with this gap, hope you
can change this asap
NovaKing (Administrator) Posted at 30/08/2009, 19:09
why not just update your rss settings?

and yes, there are gaps due to previous issues.
J_169 Posted at 31/08/2009, 03:49
how would you do this in utorrent so that it recognizes them??
sammywhammy Posted at 01/09/2009, 00:55
novaking, what about my suggestion to include two trackers in the torrent. this might be beneficial at
times like last week when openbt was offline.

adding the trackers in this format

udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce
http://tracker.openbittorrent.com/announce

udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce

i.e. udp first with different trackers in different tiers will lower the load on the trackers by using udp
where it is supported and for clients that do not support it http can be used. plus using two trackers
would reduce a torrent's downtime. what do you think?

i got a question about the rss feed.

i have it autop posting the feed on a vbulletin forum, but the links don't work because the links contain "[]"
brackets within the links, which screws up vbulletin

anyway those brackets can not be used in the links? or is there some alternative i have in vbulletin if
anyone knows
NovaKing (Administrator) Posted at 04/09/2009, 19:29

that directed at me? confused about what i should change in vbulletin rss feed manager
NovaKing (Administrator) Posted at 05/09/2009, 18:25
%5beztv%5d is the url friendly version of [eztv]
Inxile Posted at 07/09/2009, 23:32
i'm confused about what i'm supposed to do with that.
NovaKing (Administrator) Posted at 09/09/2009, 01:49
you serious?

instead of:

http://torrent.zoink.it/the.universe.s04e04.biggest.blasts.hdtv.xvid-fqm .[eztv].torrent

you do:

http://torrent.zoink.it/the.universe.s04e04.biggest.blasts.hdtv.xvid-fqm.%5beztv%5d.torrent

see, simple.
NovaKing (Administrator) Posted at 09/09/2009, 06:55
find out if your template system can do a replace of [ to %5b, etc

not much else can be done, not our fault vb is restricted like that.
