first i am aydin1954 - the login bug stroke again... second as i said many times over use vlc player. i have seen many files with problems with other player/codec combinations (and i have quite a collection of both) play just fine with vlc as it does his own rendering without using external codecs and it so looks like it is doing it real well. if other files play fine with your player/codec combination (i am talking here playing using a pc not a dvd player or other device...) it does not mean that you will find files that do not play fine. i also have seen many times people say something is wrong with the file when then the problem is with their setup. granted it does happen that once in a while a file is nuked but then you do not find anybody saying that it works fine. |

i am pinda-mix not krypto. its that login bug again. and vlc does play just about everything. if you do have issues with your codecs, well im sorry to say get rid of them all and download gspot so when you do encounter a problem it will show which codec is needed |

ok.. i haven't changed my codecs and i've used every player out there. i finally got it to work with the bs player, it's the only thing that'll play it and i don't even used it... no, i don't know wtf is going on either. i don't get problems with vid files.. ever. anyways i said i'd be back to either scream or apologise. to those who i've offended i apologise.. i was wrong, although i still don't know why it doesn't work except under strange ci rcumstances ... vlc doesn't even run it. srz. |

ok so from what you just said, it works in bsplayer (like mine, bsplayer is the unique player to use imho). that means the problem remains in your codec configuration. as this release is an xvid file, you should optimize your codecs setup, cause one of them is preventing the good one to be chosen by the player. bsplayer allows post-processing. you know that you have a post-processing occuring when a new icon is displayed near the clock in the systray taskbar. right click on it, and a list of software video post-processor will appear. but if you dont have this icon, that means you dont have ffdshow or divxg400 packages. and that sucks. you'd incredibly reduce the possibility to succesfully decode any video on the internet these days. notice that these packages arent codecs. they are post-processing packages, but they have the great advantage to pilot the use of the good codec according to the file to play. and are compatible with a lot of players: vlc bsplayer mediaplayerclassic wmp and so on. edit: ok, i dont want to be harsh, so i'm still looking for the cause of your problem. i tried several players, and the only one that couldnt work was avipreview. so maybe there is an exotic header format in that release. the xvid codec works ok on this release. but the rendering can be in trouble. there is 2 junk chunks of data in the header. nandub builds cause that sometimes. i'm glad you finally watched the show though |

kirken.. thanks.... but i know all that i've got every codec and package out there and they all work fine, this is the first time i personally have had a problem anything like this and even with a bad file vlc runs practically everything imaginable and comes with it's own decoder base.. it's the first time vlc has failed me and everything i get usually works in winamp anyway. i even ran it through gspot and it wouldn't render it and i've got all of the ffshow, etc..stuff. *puzzled* thanks for the come back though again srz guys. |

cool remember, a green screen means something wrong between decoding and rendering. data are there, but something prevent them to be drawn on screen. |

season 10 will indeed be the end of the stargate sg-1 series.... however it's has been widely confirmed by both actors, producers and writers of the show that multiple scripts are already written for use after season 10. scifi will continue stargate atlantis (at least season4 has been confirmed) and there will be sg-1 tv-movies as well. gotta love it as for the rest, all fans can look forward to a massive online game called stargate worlds (also with singleplayer) and they are currently exploring options for a third stargate series. next to this there are rumors floating around that at least one of the sg-1 team will join the atlantis crew for the series. special appearances are also still on the table.
