some things they didn't talk about that i find weird.
a little background.
im from sweden, i havent got much money because im a student, i both smoke and drink in addition i
use another nicotine product that you cant get in the us or uk.

1 the booze and fag tax is unfair unless you have a country like sweden where the health care is
totally based on government money. just as with road taxes its totally fair. if you smoke you will
cost the government more money and its only fair to pay something per fag right?

2 you don't have that much in taxes in the us, its how they spend it that's wrong. if they use it
for things like schools and lunch for the children in the schools the people wouldn't mind it that much.
not only for things like this though. if your out of work and actively search you should be able to
get some money to live on. you shouldn't be able to have two full time jobs to survive either. also
the old should be able to get money via the government. if your husband dies and you havent work you
should be able to get some of his pention. pention (when you pay taxes some of it comes back to you
when your old, depending on how much you have earned.)

great quality - i don't think i've ever seen a single bad bullshit.

as for the episode, this is the first one that i thought they were full of bullshit.

i'm sure they could have made a much better argument for a flat tax. they exposed the massive
amount of tax laws that benefit special interest groups and that tax brackets punish the rich more
than they punish the poor. however, the whole "small government", teller having his pie robbed
piece by piece and the talking to your representative to stop taxes rant was too preachy for my
taste. what i walked away from the episode with was a very well paid man bitching that he has to
pay taxes.

i agree that this particular episode was squeezed out of a dark smelly place. but it\'s not the first
to fail the sniff test. any episode that deals with a subject having any political relevance in the
u.s. just seems to show them up as corporatist shills.

they should stick to subjects where they can call on actual experts for reasonably objective
conclusions. in the organic food episode, a lobbying organization for the food industry does not
qualify. and the cato institute on taxes? c\'mon. that\'s like asking the chevy dealer if you should
buy a ford. you know what the answer is going to be and you know it\'s going to be pure bullshit.

not to beat a dead horse (which i\'m doing now, i guess), p&t should have a care that their show be
about bullshit and not actually be bullshit.

i love people with opinion to express.
i remember the last north american president election, there was a coronation party or something and
then a television-capture release, and people gone crazy here in comments.
people really go crazy when they expect changes comming from above, but notting happens as they wish.
