mmm...could be ok i guess. i wonder if their going to the crossover if they will have two episodes
uncovering the case seen from the respective point of view for both shows.
for my 2 bits worth, i have always enjoyed the occasional "cross over show" especially when they
reciprocate at a later date. the type of interfacing, where part 1 is started on 1 show title, and
part 2 is finished on a different titles show is my least favorite way to cross-over, as too many
times the first or second show is on a timing issue with other plans, but i have seen very few total
failures when this is done (i have been watching tv sense a b&w philco (several years before color
tv was available.) so i do have more than a few years of viewing experience lol. but i can remember
back in the day when networks would (very rarely) even have crossover shows with different networks!
talk about a co-operative effort that no longer exists! oh well, i digress,
on a second note, thank you eztv and welcome back! i have missed you/
i absolutely love both bones and lie to me, and have seen every episode. how could one object to
seeing two sets characters they love, both in the same "universe" already, interacting. the worse
thing that could happen here is if they let the bones writers write lines for lightman group or
vise-verse. each writer has a unique style and i for one would love to see them mixed heterogeneously.
if you notice in one episode of lie to me they visit the fbi and the set is the bones
fbi set.
yeah, that happens a lot when two shows are produced by the same company and a set for one show can
serve ideally for another show. for example, da waffle haus from dead like me was used in a season 8
episode of stargate sg-1 -- both shows are produced by mgm, but also the set was housed at bridge
studios, where both shows were filmed. they would've just had to walk to a different stage on the
same lot. no need to spend thousands of $s building a new set if one you already have standing
serves the purpose.
fans of bsg and eureka may notice that the inside of the tunneler in eureka 303: best in faux is
actually a raptor from battlestar galactica. the bsg stage is opposite eureka's two stages -- it was
simply pulled across a road and boom, welcome to eureka!
as for the crossover...i like crossovers when shows are of the same franchise (stargate sg-1
crossing over with atlantis for example) but i'm not keen when it's just a corporate attempt to get
fans of one show liking the other and vice versa.
lie to me seems like a better quality show, in my opinion. i really like both emily deschanel and
david boreanaz, but bones doesn't do much for me.
i'd much rather see a crossover between lie to me and house. although i guess with dr. lightman and
house on a case, the episode would probably be over in about 10 minutes.

why not get dr. lightman to find out what dr. house is really thinking. lol
i fully agree, leave them seperate. i have never saw the other show but have always liked bones. still,
bones has let relationships take over the crime solving plots too much. they should go back to the
older style like the first season.
if they're going to do a crossover, it should be between bones and house. if not for any other
reason, it'd be great to combine hugh laurie and stephen fry on american tv.
