really, i'll have to watch it then. cnn was making it sound like he had
alzheimer's, forgetting the 1st article of the constitution and a few other
things. stupid cnn.

he didn't really forget it, but after talking about the vp breaking senate ties,
he did say that the vp's role was also defined in article 1, when its actually
detailed in section 1 of article 2.
from article 1 - "the vice president of the united states shall be president of
the senate, but shall have no vote, unless they be equally divided."
from section 1, article 2 - "the executive power shall be vested in a president
of the united states of america. he shall hold his office during the term of
four years, and, together with the vice president, chosen for the same term, be
elected, as follows..."
i can imagine fox news spinning this to make it sound like a much bigger mistake
than it was, but cnn? really? hmm.

rather lousy performance by biden. 30+ years as senator lawyer and presidential
candidate against some chick they dug up and prepped for just a couple weeks, he
should have stomped her. so much for that.

biden gave us more info on how they are going to help us than palin did. but
palin did good but biden won that debate.

palin interprets the old testament literally. yes, she's that stupid and freaky
scary. secondly, she's not educated and puts on the old hayseed from mayberry
act to distract people from that fact. is this what america wants on its world
stage? she tried to have books banned from libraries in alaska. she said she
believes jesus will appear in her lifetime. she thinks she is destined for the
big job because god said so. her pastor is a creepy witchdoctor evangelist. she
wants a war with iran and she's looking forward to the end times.
as a politician she is corrupt. she's unfit for any office never mind the
highest ones. and if you listened closely you heard her say she expects the
same kind of power cheney has. she wants a lot of power as vp.

though the troopergate scandal is tied narrowly to palin's firing of alaska's
top cop, walt monegan, the heart of the story is about a private vendetta that
palin tried to settle using her new powers as the chief executive of the state
of alaska. thwarted in doing so, all evidence suggests she fired the public
official who refused to execute her plan.
