i doubt the us is concerned about what happens in a small market viewership like
australia (no offence meant, but it is a small market). nielson ratings is what
drives a show's continuation.
the news poster should be aware the title of the article is misleading; and it
was not very evident that channel 10 was an australian commercial station.

if the title is that of the original news post [which was posted in australia]
then it would be relevant to the orginal news/post. so it wasn't misleading
if just copied and pasted. perhaps you'd prefer a rename [for pedantic reasons
or whatever] of the title would be better? although i don't think it's
necissary.
yeah if it's axed on channel 10 then yes it's axed on channel 10. it didn't
say axed altogether and no more shows were being made in the us. just that on
channel 10 in australia it was axed. that's no misleading either. just we say
axed you say "stops airing".
i agree we're a small market and i honestly didn't think anyone would want to
see it over here anyway. it just doesn't seem to be where aussie tv is right
now.....
it was fairly easy to tell that the article was australian based.
* the article comes from news.com.au
* it mentions that the show is doing reasonably well in it's "native" us
* it discerns the australian actor from the rest of the cast - making it a valid
article regardless of how "small market viewership" impacts the us ratings.
and given that we're taking over the world in stealth mode, you'd better get
used to strine ya flamin' drongos!!1
