omg... repack proper on a 1.9gb file set...... ouch!

can someone tell me why proper/repacks are more than ever this year?

firstly, someone does not exist, therefore cannot help you. as for your
question, the reason is complicated in a simplistic kinda way, the networks, in
their wisdom, are trying to stop the illegal reproduction of their product. so,
they have enabled means of embedding the signal with a type of copy protection
that becomes visible only after the show has been captured. each broadcast
signal is encoded with a different algorithm, so no two broadcasts are the same,
the first release triggers the effect at the desired time intervals. its not
until the capture from different time zones and the piecing together of the
unaffected pieces can a complete, glitch free release been seen by the scene.oh

and yes, it was stupider than the question. completely unnecessary since it wasn't a stupid question.
there have been a lot of propers and repacks lately, and even a couple of final ultimate really this time
super propers.

would it kill somebody to post the reason for the proper/repack(s) when the file is posted? some people
are perfectionists and will download a propack because the first had a minor flaw. others may not want
to spend the time or bandwidth if it's trivial. some nuked files seem to play well for some and not others.

and sometimes there's no reason given at the "bad" file.

ask the friend who came around turned on your computer for you and installed the
client & codecs and put pretty little tabs in your browser so you could
actually find this site to come around again, gibbsslap you up the back of the
head and bring up the page for google, that is , if you can manage to remember
how to turn the computer back on

i dont know what the quality is untill ive downloaded it, but they coulda made
some small check before releasing it.

personally im in no rush to watch these show the few minutes after theyve been
released and usually dont d/l till they've been out 8h or more, luckily for me
they've all been ok.

older than 13... by 3 and some.. but not stupid enough to think that any of the
bitching that goes on in here by all these mindless freaks is going to effect
the way tv caps are released.
