the other proper had scroling text along the top bout changer over to digital
services

there was a commercial in the first release, this one probably dont have that.

the first release was fine... a 6sec ad ... no biggie

i don't understand why people complain. it's not like they're paying for it. and
they certainly didn't do anything to deserve a free video.

eztv and other sites don't charge for the services.

i'm just glad the programs are available because many of them take a few years
to reach where i am - if ever.

there often seems to be a heckofalotta propers and real propers and repacks,
real repacks, real proper repacks, real repack propers, real real proper
repacks, repacked proper real repacks, etc...that sucks, but who cares? it's free.

complaining does nothing and makes no sense. sure, the stupid scrolling news
bars and dogs are a nuisance. sure, sometimes there's a transmission glitch.
that's life. if you want a better copy, buy the dvd when it's released.

on the contrary, the topic was that there is no need for several propers, when
the 1st release was actually fine...

i have no video on the first proper. just audio.

that problem is on your end. the file is fine and the commercials last only 5
seconds.
the scrolling text in the other proper is nothing, it disappears after only 5 or
6 seconds and it's not like it prevents you from actually seeing the show. i've
seen much more intrusive ads in any scifi channel's show.

fov’s release has commercials and etach’s release has bad ivtc.

yeah a 6 second commercial or banner commercial isn't that disruptive.. but if
you're going to download a copy.. keep it on your hdd... give out copies to
friends etc.. wouldnt you want the best copy available?? instead of watching
that 6 second ad 20 times over the lifetime of the .avi file?

er.. nobody is complaining.. except you it seems!

a lot of us like the show and just want to get the best copy available, so if
3 copies turn up, there is no harm in asking which is the best if it isn't
obvious or has been mentioned already. some people may have downloaded the
first version and not watched it - so if someone says that it's only a 2
second problem, then at least those people will be in a better position to
know whether they should download a repack, proper or just keep the copy they
have since the 2 second glitch won't bother them.

indeed. if someone already downloaded and feels it's not problem watch a copy
with glitches or commercials or whatever it has, that someone would prefer
better to stay with that version or get another one, but for someone who hasn't
downloaded the file, why download a bad copy when you can get a free glitches
copy instead, specially those who also want to keep a copy of the file.

for someone like me on a slow connection every percent of dl counts and i don't
care if they have a few seconds of an ad or some text. what i do care is if
there is any missing scenes or out of sync audio which can wreck a copy, and as
someone else said if you want a perfect copy wait for the dvds or try recording
it yourself when it airs in your country!
