550mb instead of 350mb?

i believe the episodes are actually almost an hour long. as opposed to 42-44
minutes for most of the other tv shows around.

awesome episode, looking forward to number 3.
there are some sex scenes in this one yes ;p but i wont spoil between who of course.
also very curious as why there 550 as opposed to 350?
rather annoying as you cant even put a 175mb file on a cdr along with the 550
meg rip.

i've downloaded several episodes of shows like the sopranos, six feet under,
and dexter where the run time was close to an entire hour, yet the file was,
or was close to, 350mb.
not that it really matters, it just seemed strange to me.

considering that cds are now worth virtually nothing, who really cares.
the size is normally related to the length of the show, and some times the
source.
i can confirm that this episode is 54 mins long.

love this show. its amazing. and all hbo and showtime shows that run an hour has
been 550 mb for some time now. all the tudors are aswell

the scene adjusted their rules awhile back to allow for a 550mb standard to be
used. some people were upset they had to either make them 350mb or 700mb to
fall within scene rules before and that meant even over sizing them or using a
lower bit rate then they wanted so the rules were adjusted.
of course this oinly applies to scene releases but it's why you've been seeing
more 550mb eps then you used to. the scene allows it now, where as before if
someone released a 550mb episode it would have been grounds for a nuke.

when dose the 720p version usualy get post? a rough aprox time. some weeks the
capers seem to be faster than others
