last series it was something new, different, and unexpected which made for
entertaining watching for the first few episodes, but even by the end of the
series i was getting bored with belle's problems. i snatched the first two eps
of this series, but just can't be bothered to watch them. plus, as jjspazuk
says, i've already seen her tits.

pretty much sums it up right there. bad acting, beat chick, beat boobs, moving
on. if the whole point of the show is sex sells then maybe you might want to
get a sexy looking female to sell that point.

jeez, harsh toke.
imagination is what is lacking, sex is about the head not the boobs. perfect
serviceable acting. good actress, ok plots.
not everything can have the visuals of singing detective, characters of cracker,
plots of riget, dialog of generation kill ( pick your own pantheon )
this is serviceable tv, more than serviceable stateside where an episode of the
defunct series nypd blue is still being prosecuted for indecency.
can't win for losing.......

the concept of ratings is screwed from the getgo.. they don't sample people like
us -- they sample from the masses. neilson (at least in the us) carefully takes
the oblivious view of blind random picks of people to say what is popular. i
think the entire notion is completely fubared.
ratings like this was fine when there were 5 or 6 channels to choose from, now
you have 900 channels vying for attention, and they are still sampling the
smallest portion of people. they cannot possibly hope to capture the niche
interests of the masses. so everyone is freaked out when .01% of the population
doesn't find 1 show interesting on a particular night.
/meh -- media has a long way to go before they understand anything
