Saturday Night Live S34E01 Michael Phelps HDTV XviD-LATE

this indeed was late thus i presume the 'late' on the title, why? just wanted to
put it out there. anyway thanks from the uk guys, always the 1st place to go,
been waiting for this andy samberg rules...lol. oh btw obama had to cancel on
the show due to the texas hurricane in case anyone watches and is disapointed

too bad obama couldn't be on...

actually, late is the name of the release group. i assume they call themselves
"late" since they cap late-night television shows... the fact that it showed up
here a day late probably just means that they wanted to take the time to ensure
a quality release.

the opening skit was very good but the rest of the show was horribly unfunny.

samberg is even worse than sandler.
groooaaaaan, again i will download, and again i will more than likely be
disappointed.
does lorne micheal care anymore? are the pickings so bad for actors? or is he
being like harrold ballard (former owner of the toronto maple leafs) - the
money is rolling in, why should i spend any money in quality? as long as the
fools keep attending....

the opening sketch is one that will go down in history as one of the funniest ever.

the rest of the show, however, is crap. michael phelps is a talented swimmer,
but has a sinfully boring personality.

next episode should be better i think. i think next week james franco is on

1st 10 min. of the show - awesome

2nd best part of the show was the 'digital short'. ok, now that was funny.

phelps did his best with what he had to work with....

but gone are the heyday of the original show and the late 80's/early 90's
classic & amazing shows....

maybe they just dont make comedians with that kind of talent anymore.... or
maybe i'm just old and harken back to an earlier era... either way, other than
those 2 moments, the show was mediocre, at best.

but the file seems to be fine - no glitches, etc. so, download and enjoy if you
want to! i kinda wonder if those 2 skits cud be found on the other video web
sites, saving both viewing time and bandwith....?

i enjoyed this episode. michael phelps wasn't amazing, but at the end of the day
he's a swimmer not an actor. i agree that the opening sketch was funny, but the
t-mobile sketch was definitely the best of the night followed by the space
olympics. then the michael phelps diet.
