it might just be me, but it seems the audio is a little messed up. getting like
a tinny echo. listenable, but annoying.
same ting in vlc media player and bs player pro.
admin : are you sure that you do not suffer from tinnitus? as it is perfectly
fine at my end even checked with headphones to make sure.

apparently you are completely unfamiliar with the basics of british tv.
the emphasis has always been 'quality rather than quantity', which is a nice
idea. hasn't always worked, but it was a good idea.
the notion was, and is, get a small group of really talented writers to come up
with 6 to 13 excellent scripts, instead of the american model of putting a shed
load of writers into a shed and see what they come up with.
i'm not saying the yanks got it wrong, it's just a different approach.
the end result is you will never get anything more than, at best, 13 episodes of
a good quality british tv show.
that said low quality british tv runs like diarrhoea.

what you might be missing, @norguy, is that there is a disparity between bbc
productions and those made for itv.
the bbc, being nationally funded, have no commercial breaks,, so a one hour show
is about 58 minutes long, adding idents, titles and "coming soon".
itv, on the other hand, being commercial, is going to produce "one hour" shows
that are, very much in the american vein, about 42 minutes long.
this is why i only watch itv shows via the medium of pvr and downloads.
