i was using pg2 when i got busted. my story:
http://howtorrentsruinedmylife.blogspot.com/

shouldn't that read http://howstealingcopyrightedmaterialruinedmylife.com ?

you knew what you were doing, deal with it

really, shouldn't it be "i'm getting paid to make a fake blog post"? since, if you settle
privately, you're not a convict. they're just trying to pimp a for-pay product.

i have a question for you guys.

seeing how mininova shut down this week. how save is eztv ?? how illegal is the sharing/downloading
of tv shows exactly ?? all the articles you read are always about music, software, movies and games.
tv shows are never mentioned.

thanx.

i'd be really misarable without this place.

i've heard that they are currently targeting certain isps. i've got a few letters in the last 2
months too. and i'm running pg2. just means you have to be careful for a while. mediasentry was
still pinging me a week after i shut down utorrent. nothing is 100% safe. and all of the ip's that
they use are ever known.

and what a about a ipfilter.dat?

i use ipfilter in utorrent from bluetack internet security solutions (b.i.s.s.)

it

i used to see some weird anonymous ip or something like that - in utorrent.. i think it would also
work with peerguardian.. some service where you get your ip routed through net proxy encrypted 24/7
so ppl have no idea..

cost $$ tho.. i did see a bunch of people with it for a while, not so much anymore.. so maybe they
either thought not worth the $ or it didnt really work..

but in the end, stick to private if you can..

or better yet web file hosting so the only logs are with the hoster

i got an email today from my isp. my second in several months. the 1st was for a movie but this time
is was for an nbc show on usa that i got from here just a few weeks ago(not blaming anyone at all,
just informing). it was the same form letter from my isp with forwarded info from nbc. these guys
suck!

i missed one of the last shows of this season because i didn't know they were ending the season with 2
shows on the same night and i only dvr'd one of the episodes. i use peerblock with the most important
lists i think. 36 to be exact. i use the ipfilter.dat from http://tbg.iblocklist.com/lists and check it
everyday.

i never thought i would see this. anyone else get a letter over a frickin' tv show? a show not even on
a premium channel!!

not sure what to do now. anyone have any suggestions other than stopping torrenting all together? any
idea how many letters one may get before the black suits show up knocking?

i was just going to suggest the same thing. .... i have turned to proxy servers and a vpn service. in
addition, i'm using the new peerblock beta, just for fun. lol.

the free vpn service that i use is: proxpn at www.proxpn.com .
the pay proxy service i use is: easy-hide-ip at www.easy-hide-ip.com .

both are very good and there is virtually no chance that you will ever be singled-out using either of
these services.

btw, "hello," .... this is my first post.

we will not do nzb's. we are purely a torrent site.

ok so on that note anyone know of a site that offers something similar to eztv indexing with nzb's?
