okay, i had to giggle at the doctor who references in this episode. a fiels
tech from nasa names mr. leithbridge stewart, a zygon rated quarantine
facility at middleman hq and the treaty of peri perpigillium! ha!...rotflmao!!

this is such a good show. i can't believe there's only one more episode in
this freshman season!

"it's thinking like that that led to drug resistant malaria."

lol

and a douglas adams reference.. 'did your boss just call you on your watch about
a pan-galactic gargle blaster?'

douglas adams was a script editor (original material) for dr. who in the late
60's and early 80's

but i caught all the refrences :d i ❤️ peri 😉

i haven't had a chance to watch this episode yet, but:

is anyone else getting really bad pixellisation (new word?) throughout the
middleman's episodes? episodes 6-8 were filled with terrible blotchy sections,
like someone had done a really bad photoshop edit on the whole video. episode 8
didn't have sound at the beginning for me, either.

(this is why i'm so far behind, it's really hard to watch when they're like that.)

if this has been covered in the previous episode threads then sorry about that.
i only thought to post about it this week (i was putting up with it previously).

the absence of sound at the start of that episode looked kind of intentional to
most viewers. there was kind of a discussion about that in the thread for that
ep right here on eztv.

there where a lot of die hard references as well in this one, very nice. i had
to laugh so hard at this special emergency protocol and its explanation *g*
this show is so great, i would not wonder if it gets scrubbed ☹️ but i really
hope it returns soon.

reference-wise this might be the best show ever. i think i'd need a long time
to recover from my sadness if it gets cancelled.
