ah, and so starts the flood of youtube videos- i have no idea how these idiots
get the idea to cancel such a popular series, its so unfair to the loyal fans
and people who have yet to discover our hidden paridise every friday at 10pm
on sci-suck (i mean sci-fi, hrem hrem) these videos they release dont even
compare to the show as a series. good luck sga!

wtf? why are they cancelling? it's not as if it's gotten old or stale yet.

well i guess you didn't watch the last 20 episodes or so, don't get me wrong, i
love everything to do with the sg universe, but sga has definitely lost it. this
and the last ep where very misable, the one before that was ok but i have to go
back at least another 4-5 to find another decent one. i like that they are going
to stop it on there own terms instead of driving it into the ground, a slow death.

this news wouldnt suprise me at all. i have been very critical of this show
saying in the past its insulting our intelligence, almost childish. its the
writers and what they get away with, writing garbage thinking yea the sci fi
nerds will accept anything they dish out. well maybe the message is finally
hitting home. whilst many of us still watch it, its mostly due to our being
addicted to sci fi and most certainly not its content. tho i have to say i
thought we were turning the corner in the last episode, i thought it was
mildly ok. sg atlantis - whatever.

bring back jm stracynski who wrote most of b5. now thats the benchmark of good
to excellent sci fi.

but hey always a big thank you to uploaders, they didnt write the episodes.

as a scifi addict i will miss it but what can you do they do polls some where
but unfortunately not from the p2p community. ahh well might have just start
from the beginning of sg1.^-^

the canceling isn't all bad (but it does suck all the same)
sci-fi channel has green lit a new show called stargate universe, the third
live-action television series, according to the hollywood reporter.

universe will have a 2-hour premiere in 2009, and land in a regular time slot
next summer -- meaning there will not be a production gap between the second
and third stargate television series.

this episode is why they are cancelling it (terrible)...should never have
gotten rid of the old doctor because this one is just too boring.

and while it was never my fav sci-fi show, i like it, in part because i always
liked rodney, and bite your tongue about the new dr, sure the original guy was
great, but i lust after the new one more...

you could sort of see the cancelling coming, what with all the cast changes
etc, they were trying to improve ratings and it obviously never happened, still
this type of stuff never does like super well, so i'm not sure what they expect.

the only problem with being a sci-fi fan?, having to learn to love new shows,
and morn old ones every few years...
