maybe they shouldn't have dragged the last season out so badly with a bunch of
boring shit. i am sure the next 10 will be no different.

damn you beat me to it :-/

bsg has to be one of the most boring shows on t.v. i've been semi-following it
since its pilot episode. there have been some really good episodes thrown in
there but for the most part most of the episodes is just a bunch of badly
scripted drama.

this was supposed to be the final season. it was supposed to be done now, here,
in '08. they made us wait near a year for the "final" season only to make us
wait yet another year for "the final season". and now they're talking about
"extended episodes"? are you kidding me?

the only reason why i stomached to watch the boredom of this alleged final
season was because it was supposed to be the final season. it's hard enough to
watch a full hour of that show when you think its the final few episodes, let
alone watch two hours???? of it during the now alleged final season airing in
next year.

seriously bad management of that show. it takes them a year to release 10ish
episodes, i dont even know how its managed to stay on the air pulling off stuff
like that. not to mention its lackluster ratings.

it wasn't all planned. the writers strike had a lot to do with the delays this
year, and it wasn't the only show to suffer from this.

admittedly the episodes can be a little drawn out, but the extra drama element
is what has earned it a following sci-fi shows normally don't get.

i'm all for the battle scenes and quick resolution of story lines as well, but i
have enjoyed the plot intrigue in bsg.

not sure how many people remember space:above and beyond, but that also had a
good drama content and relied less on sci-fi elements. it was a brilliant show
that could do well again if it were to be revived.

i think they'll bump episodes up to 60 minutes of footage, in a 90-minute time
slot. half an hour of commercials. what can i say, i love free internet downloads.
