Generation Kill S01E03 HDTV XviD-0TV

wicked. looking forward to watching this. anyone check the website? it's
chockers with detail, info, interviews, even a nice little map showing each leg
of the trip by episode. of course the saddest thing i found out from the
official website is that gk will be 7 eps only.

this is an awesome show. hate that it is only 7 parts though. i did find out
one interesting detail however. "fruity rudy" is actually played in this
series by himself. i hear that it is the actual marine that is playing this
part. just thought i would share that, most of you probably know that and
here i sit looking like a tool. but, oh well. good job hbo.

yes, rudy served 3 tours between afgan and iraq. great show.

godfather is going to get some good marines killed. but hey, at least he'll
make general! another good episode.

doesn't matter who's in charge.. good marines will die regardless =)

and its war, people die, simple fact.

if anything.. it's that "captain america" douche that's gonna get people
killed. he's comparable to sobel in bob hehe.

this is comparable to me saying someone is going to die from lung cancer because
they smoke and you over simplifying it down to, "its life, people die, simple fact."

about the only person capt douche is going to get killed is himself. everyone
else seems to be smart enough to flick him off and not follow any of his stupid
orders.

i love this show and i am glad it will be only 7 episodes.

if it was more than 7 episodes, hbo would either find a way to ruin it with bad
writing, or they would cancel the show before resolving anything. which is what
hbo is notorious for doing.

after a mostly duff first ep this show is improving quickly.

already more interesting/relevant than \'the wire\', and it doesn\'t have that
lisp-faced, narcissistic pussy who played mcnulty - bonus - only thing it needs
now is it\'s omar!

dangerously close to making even people like me sympathetic to the us marines
on their murderous mission against the equally-mindless and murderous islamic
nutjobs...

good show on the whole.

i truly wonder if this is an accurate representation of the marines today. i
guess i'm still in the mindset of comparing it to band of brothers.. where that
era seemed more disciplined and attentive to orders.

american troops have a poor reputation in europe - from the few soldiers i've
spoken too at least.

i think a lot of that 'friendly fire' we civilians see on the telly doesn't help
matters either...

this show is great, and there's precious little else on at the moment.

i didn't know about the rudy character btw. thanks for the info.
