this show looks pathetic. is it created by scientologists or someone equally as
screwed up in the head? it at least makes me happy i'm not american, the uk
would never even think of making something this bad and desperate.

oh right because the uk doesn't have any crap shows... (rolls eyes)

i'm from the uk as well and i can assure you that we have entire channels
dedicated to bad and desperate. and that's not just the soaps and "reality"
shows either.

seriously, have you never tuned into itv. wake up!

oh, and just to save the blushes of your compatriots, instead of whining about
how a show 'looks' like it might turn out, how about watching it and giving a
proper review.

as an atheistic heathen i have the advantage of not worrying about gods, devils
and angels getting in the way of a good story, so i'm just hoping that "an
unusual relationship with god" doesn't translate to a fucked up drama heavy
version of eli stone. (please note; not whining, just reflecting).

i'm going to try it.

not very interesting, had to watch to end to see if there is a bigger picture.
but no if you dont count the lead actors personal problems. the god part totally
unneeded did not give anything more to the story.

having now checked this out, it would have been refreshing if it had turned into
a fucked up version of eli stone. fuck me this is painful.

and not the 'light at the end of the tunnel', suck up that saccharin, type of
painful.

oh no, this is much more the needles in the eyes sort of affair.

if you can look around and come to the conclusion that the world just isn't
fucked up and depressing enough for you, then give this little nugget of
hopelessness a shot. it makes jericho look like an episode of the middleman!

well, i actually enjoyed the first episode,
and grace park was awesome 🙂

release?

long version

we were a bit surprised to see 0tv's release at 29fps. we checked the source
over and over and confirmed our findings with some friends that it did indeed
need ivtc as 1 in 5 frames on the 0tv rls are dupes.

also, 700mb is drastically oversized for this 51minute dark, low motion show.
much like alot of hbo stuff done at 350mb, this looks just fine. even 550 seemed
overkill.

short version: needs ivtc, dupe frames and oversized.

since i've already downloaded the 700 mb version -- and there doesn't seem to be
anything significantly wrong with it -- i'm not downloading the 350 mb one.

my sister just went through rehab for alcohol abuse, but relapsed pretty quickly
afterward. i know some people have been helped by mpi (in the san francisco bay
area), but i feel that these so-called 'experts' dropped the ball on her treatment.

just watched this show, and i liked it. big thumbs up.
fyi: another good show on a&e is called, intervention.

lame show, main guy talks to god personally, sad. avoid. but better than some
crap i've seen. 4/10

perfectly ok tv rip, sound and picture good.

watchable, if only for grace park.
