AMC announces two more shows in development

amc is the hot cable net right now. it seems every few years it changes. hbo
used to be the big guns with "deadwood" and "sopranos" and "larry sanders",
then it was f/x with "the shield" and "rescue me". now between "breaking bad"
and "mad men" amc is the new media critics darling, and well deserved.

i agree, although you forgot showtime and there's a lot of overlap between their
reigns. but the more edgy cable programming the better, either way. and oh god,
breaking bad hasn't even gone into production yet, laaaaame. i'm not awaiting a
new season of any other show nearly as badly.

true, "dexter" and "weeds" and i guess "the tudors" have been boffo for
showtime. remember "it's garry shandling's show"?
