i didn't like the editing (from the show's editor, not the capper) at the
beginning because i thought my player was lagging and missing frames and so i
paused and went back but the laggs were always at the same time and i opened it
with virtualdub and there weren't more frames either, so i figured it should be
"normal".
luckily it was just at the beginning and the rest was smooth ^^
this is got to be the worst job of syncing sound and video ever on eztv!
complete waste of bandwidth to download this. great job on the video and audio
quality.......next time, get 'em to sync so we don't have to read lips. even on
a dual core and 4gigs of mem it made no diff..... or is everyone else here just
used to this kind of "quality"?
"i never have any issues with syncing. especially on this episode. so i don't
know what the hell you are talking about. trying using a real video player, like
gom or vlc."
that's rather presumptuous. we've used vlc,
xine, mplayer, and gstreamer all on a linux box with the same results. we
shouldn't have to adjust our players to make up for issues.
"and cut out the snooty shit, that doesn't fly well here."
been snaggin' torrents from ez for over a year and have had no complaints
about quality on the whole but hey, this is your pond.

i used the good old wmp9 and had no audio/video sync problems.
and i don't have any special codecs etc. i only got and old version of the
k-lite codec pack installed.
and the fact that you are the only one bitching around about audio/video sync
problems, should give you the hint that the problem is most likely on your side,
but it's so much easier to bitch somewhere else about it first.
just watched it, there are no audio, video, or synch problems with this file
whatsoever. if you are having issues then try updating your codecs, because
the problem is clearly on your end.
good to see the show back, i was going to grind my teeth waiting for the local
tv station to show the final three episodes in widescreen, but it turns out the
first season hit usenet in dvd rips last month.
