Don S. Davies: 1942-2008

horrible! i am shocked and sadden by this announcement. when i saw it my heart
sank. great actor, he will be missed. rip.

yeah i've been rewatching x-files and had forgotten he was scully's father. i
think he got typecast a bit, but any ep that had him was better for it.

damn, i liked this guy. i even remember him in those john west tuna commercials
from years ago.

didn't realise he was an academic too, well accomplished.

i echo the sentiments above. i was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his
passing yesterday. he was a great actor but beyond that and most importantly, he
was a great man.

my utmost condolences to his family and friends.

who ever heard of a phd in theater. what an amazing man. and nice, too.
imagine being accomplished, sane, open and giving. a most unfortunate loss. r.i.p.

mispronouncing it itself.

was that really necessary to point out? show some respect for mr. davies and for
those upset in this thread about his passing.

as much as i like beau as the new general, hammond will always be my favorite.

he will surely be missed.

can an admin please change the title of this thread, and the news article. the
man's name is don s. davis, not davies, and i missed this article because of the
name difference, watched continuum without realizing he had died.
