It's now official: Moonlight will not be picked up

that sucks.....

how many more moonlight really die...really, it is..do we need?

moonlight is done done done!
now if only their fans can stop whining and blame every new show next season for
the fact that this uninspired show is dead.

nina has to keep strong-arming her media contacts because the fans are doing too
good a job of keeping it in the news. she seriously wants it dead, because
she's losing her street cred in the industry.

she wanted the publicity jericho gave the network, but didn't really want to
bother with the show so she only gave it 8 episodes and didn't tell anyone when
they were going to air. the fans of jericho refused to back down though. (when
the jericho fans wouldn't give up and took a jericho ad out on a billboard owned
by cbs, she had egg all over her face.)

in an effort to keep from being humiliated again, she thought she'd get the
upper hand by using a song called "when i'm gone" by simple plan on all the
promos for the last three episodes after the writer's strike. that backfired on
her as well. the fact they were able to get directv involved really pissed her
off.

add to all this, the fact that swingtown, the show based on the book her parents
wrote, is sinking faster than the titanic...yeah, she had to do something before
people thought she was as powerful as a cell phone with less than one bar left.

until someone who actually has some authority (and isn't one of nina's minions)
says there's no hope left, the fans of both jericho and moonlight will continue
the fight. jericho fans are lucky they have the cast and crew helping them.
moonlight fans will continue until joel silver tells them himself to stop.

no one is falling for nina's head games.

lesson learned?
