woohoo!!! i'm so excited that i'm practically euphoric, i can't stop smiling...
then i remember the next episode is in 4 more weeks and the euphoria disappears,

i've never seen this show. how does it compare in quality to, say, battlestar
gallactica? do you need to watch it from the first season to appreciate the
storyline?

i would say yes, watching atlantis from season 1 would be recommended. watching
some stargate sg-1 (particularly the last few seasons) will give you more
understanding as to what's going on also.

never seen bsg, but i can say this is a very good addictive show for sci-fi
genre fans
it would be good to watch it from the beginning, but then again to get the full
history watch stargate sg-1 as well (note, sga s01 started at the same time as
sg-1 s08) as atlantis is a spin off of sg-1

lol try watching sg1 from the start as well as atlantis.. but if you arent up to
that then yes probably better off watching from season 1.

this is a spin off from stargate sg1, sci-fi's best scifi show that has now
finished and moved on to made for tv movies... i'd strongly suggest watching
sg1 seasons 1-10 and then atlantis 1-5 ... as sg1 kinda sets up the entire
reason for why atlantis exists...
it's probably one of the best scifi shows to date overall

dear god in heaven, i envy you.
i wish i could watch all the episodes back to back for the first time.
14 seasons of sci-fi bliss.
you really need to watch them asap.
but don't wait till you finish season 10 to start on atlantis.
the first season of atlantis started around the 7th or 8th season of sg-1
enjoy...
