only 1 word describes what i think of this show. eeeeewww!!!!!!!!!
i like my wee-knee just the way it is, (well, i wish it was john holmes sized).
i squirm at the thought of it being split down the middle and used to create a
vagina!
i am watching in as i type this. it is actually really quirky and well done. i
would recommend it. sure, it might be a topic that is not in the norm, but it's
still quite interesting.
"i'm a bit confused, is this really enough of a premise to base a series after? "
as a person with several transgendered friends i'd say definitely. most one off
episodes involving transgender issues are atrociously oversimplified. this
woman's friend's and family, even if supportive, are going to have huge
adjustments to make. what will the kid's ultimately decide to call their dad?
will she even still be attracted to women after she's made the change (it's not
uncommon for trans' people's sexual orientation to change as they go through
sexual identity changes like this). will her wife be willing to deal with the
transition?
seriously, there's so much material inherent in the setup i'm squeeing over
here. i can't believe that i hadn't heard of this until the pilot leaked.
