why? because it is 700mb?

the 700mb is cuz the file file is oversampled. you can find the exact same
resolution same quality file in the normal 350mb format at mininova, btc, or
demonoid.

maybe i should've put a '?' after my double episode (which is the way i meant
it), but either way it is the season finale. so many people online have no way
to get their aggression out they need to attack people online with ridiculous

the episode is not oversampled
impossible for it to be the same "quality" because the length of the episode is
60 minutes compared with most episodes being 40-45 minutes.

the 350mb is not the same quality as the show is 58min but its still good quality
uk groups just dont do more compromising file sizes like 550mb that you see usa
groups doing 57-59min stuff at.

i guess short 6 ep seasons are to be expected with uk shows

@pathomancer: you do know that the other 5 episodes also have 700mb, right? and
since someone
explained the scene rules already, i won't go into that.

@death734: thanks for the info 😉

really? please provide a screenshot or give me a time in the 1rst episode where
i can see these alleged quality differences between the 2 different versions by
ordinary eye on a 42" monitor.

a lot of people in the world are challenged for bandwidth or have to pay monthly
surcharges for going over allotment (i was just reading yesterday that in usa
time, warner, aol will be going to this system) so it is bloody inconsiderate to
post these files without at the very least a warning. (you know like how they do
with the 720p files so people know they have a choice.)

scene rules only apply 700mb to 60 minutes or more. invisibles has never clocked
in above 58 minutes so that rule doesn't apply.

again, it is about courtesy and consideration. you and many others can download
with little or no problem. however there is a whole other world of users facing
a number of bandwidth restrictions. these large files are just presented in a
very irresponsible and arrogant way with no regard for large numbers in the file
sharing community who face so many restrictions.

@pathomancer
xvid developers even say there isn't much point in going lower than a quanitizer
encode of 2 (which gives 2/2/4 drf stats) and a 2 pass 700mb encode at
1.5mbit 624x352 for this show does give lower drf stats then that (the lower,
the better until a certain point).

regarding screen shots, i never really did any comparing the 350mb rip and the
700mb rip other then s01e02 (i mostly just did screens for the 350mb encodes)

not a big difference but there is still some. obviously the 350mb encode still
looks perfectly fine (and i wasn't saying it didn't before)

might as well post a link for this eps 350mb h**p://www.mininova.org/tor/1477144

just download them both and see for yourself. i did and the difference is huge.
try watching this stuff on a plasma screen or even a lcd tv.

hey everyone! smaller file size is exact same quality! lets make 100 meg files
because it all looks the same on crappy 42" monitor! (me rollseyes)

show some courtesy and consideration yourself to the majority that wants
quality. 58 minutes at 350 is low quality. simple as that. if you think 350
is good quality then your isp situation has truly lowered your standards.

amen pathomancer brother. go shout it from the mountain.

i have telstra in oz i pay 15 cents per mb others pay 30 cents per mb after
using up the monthly quota (1-3gb) so many would like the courtesy of a heads up
when a 700mb file is not going to be an expected 90 minutes.

pathomancer a lot these wankers are blowing smoke out there a**lock. when they
have to pay for these files see how many of them will really download an extra
350mbs....yeah z... talking to you.
