think i'm done with this trailer-trash version of top chef. they're all so
talentless and stupid, to boot! enough with the rissotto already...

i can't agree more on that but to see chef ramsey screams like a dog,thats
something different for a cooking show

and he hasn't called anyone a donkey for along time now...

yeah its trailer trash compared to top chef but its damn good entertainment even
though its completely rigged

i agree as well, his other show is much better, kitchen nightmares. i wouldnt
hire any of them to run a restaurant, who did the cast selection for this show?
are the previous seasons this bad?

if you read gordon ramsay's auto-biography "playing with fire" you'll see the
show isn't rigged. the contestans are all picked because they claim to be good
at what they do (not that it means they are) in fact gordon is so pissed off
with the shows producers only coming up with dumbass contestants that he may not
be working for fox anymore. he has two very sucessful shows here in the uk (the
f word, ramsay's kitchen nightmares) and has also hosted a number of one-off
specials such as a live cook-a-long. so he really doesn't need to do the us
stuff and i think he only does it as a way of getting free publicity for his new
york place (that sounds kind of sucky...but hey...who on tv doesn't want free
publicity). however on the subject of "rigging" he does admit to being pissed at
the producers of kitchen nightmares us for rigging some situations in particular
the one where the "heavy" came into peter's resteraunt and caused a fight. this
lead him to only sign a three year contract with fox instead of the usual 5 year
one. he's a tough cookie and takes no bullshit. i admire the man a lot.

oh and to answer the other post about his outbursts i miss him calling people a
donkey too.....and i'm getting a bit sick of him kicking those fucking bins....
