Sleeper Cell

i assume that eztv will be releasing sleeper cell when it comes out on the 10th
of december. perhaps it could be added to the "airs today" list?

really looking forward to series 2! apparently its being aired one episode a
night for 8 days from the 10th.

this show is awesome. cant believe there doing a season 2. season 1 was one of
my top shows at that time.

really hope this gets capped.

its certainly not "crapp", i don't see how anyone can think that. they might
think its too violent, or maybe has too much "adult" content in it, but i don't
think anyone could say it was actually bad...

i'm thinking about renting the first season so i'd appreciate some comments on
why it's a good or bad show, without spoilers, please. thanks.

well i am just one person, but, i watched (d/l) the 1st season as soon as i
got each ep, and couldn't wait 4 the next day too c nxt ep, had multiple
possible climactic endings, (as in u dont have to wait 10 hrs to get that the
"end is near" feeling, a bit like the last cple of 24's, mini plots inside the
master plan)

having said that, i just rewatched the 10 eps last week and it only took me 5.5
hours, aside from ff the love crap, there was some of the story that wasn't
essential to the main story, hence the ff button without diminishing from the
storyline


the show itself delt with a sleeper cell and the f.b.i. , the religious crap
wasn't religious crap,,, just enough to feed the storyline

suspense a plenty, good character background and developement

writers not scared to kill of a main character (more than one actually)(and no
not including any possible suicide bombing events that may or may not happen)

and just to give u an idea of what i watch/ed (not in any order)

include stargate x 2, bsg x 3, smallville(man i wish they would kill lana, or
at
least get rid of all the 90210 romance crap)boston legal, alias,

firefly/serenity, dark angel, roswell, house,ncis,smith,kidnapped,lost,tru
calling, threat matrix, prison break, 24, 4400,star trek x 5, dead zone(kill
her
too) jericho, medium, kyle xy, supernatural, the nine(still deciding),
daybreak,
ghost whisperererer, runaway, threshold, west wing, commander in chie
if, e-ring, the pretender, 7 days, quantum leap, seaquest dsv, just the ones i
can think of at the moment


anyway, hope i havent put u off,

i didn't even know they were gunna make a second season (yes the 1st 10 eps are
a stand alone mini series/maxi movie

its certainly worth watching. be warned, some scenes (the end of the first
episode in particular) are fairly violent (much more so than other things like
24 or prison break for example). its much more "realistic" than any other show
in the genre that i've seen, but very gripping and quite an interesting look at
it from "their" side. it doesn't make them any more "right", but you can see why
the individuals are doing what they're doing for a variety of misguided reasons.

season 2, i imagine, will be an entirely new cast, perhaps keeping the main
character, so it should be interesting. season 1 is very much self contained.

watch it!
