afaik nbc was suposed to censor the cross scene. can anyone confirm that they did ?

yes, they did. instead of showing her at the cross, they showed images of
underprivileged african kids. and four songs didn't make the cut. they also
bleeped her cursing, as one would expect. but there were plenty of commercials!
that's nbc for you. 🙂 i believe when it airs internationally, there will be no
cuts and no censorship.

people still listen to that old hag ? she always try to fit it with what cool at
the moment but its just not working out for her anymore she is old.

i could care less how old she is. the fact that she's a no talent hack, banking
on trying to be controversial because she has no substance is far more important
in illustrating why she needs to be removed from existance.

nbc should have just edited the entire thing out and showed a test pattern. at
least that would have been more interesting and infinitely more entertaining.

if you think she's an old hag, not talent hack, etc, why waste your time here? i
don't understand this need to express hatred towards a show or in this case a
person. if you don't like madonna, fine, i don't care, it won't change what i
think about her but why is it so difficult to respect other people's different
tastes?

because glorifying people like that will make them think they are actually good.
but this is all in a good fun anyway just trying to start some conversations

she's a legend and a lot more then just a singer but i would love to see how u
guys trash the britneys and others skunks out there that are real garbage,
should be fun.
anyway i'm not a madonna fan and i don't really like what she sings now but her
concerts are great and that's a good enough reason to dl this( too bad it's

and it's pretty hard to deny the amount of influence she has had on music, but
that's not what the issue is about..

heh, here was me thinking that people who have nothing better to do than abuse
others were the ones whose existences were pointless. well, at least somewhat
more pointless than somebody who got off their bum and put some positive effort
into getting where they wanted to be in life, used their success (deserved or
not) to help others and don't run around slagging off people they've never met.

if no-talent hacks affect your mental health so much that you can't even see
their name without resorting to abuse, thinking that the rest of the world wants
to hear that abuse or actually cares if you don't like a certain singer, why are
you hanging around a site that features mostly american shows? do me a favour,
ignore the torrents that trigger your angry-switch and leave the rest of us to
comment on the quality of the torrent or something that's actually relevant.
i hope that my response gave you the little self-satisfied smirk or "yay, i
wound someone up" sixty second masty you must have been hoping for, otherwise
your comment was just pointless. you can't argue over personal taste, nobody is
going to change their opinion or stop enjoying a certain type of music just
because you don't like it. take stuff like that to the soapbox forum, you might
find a more accepting audience there.

if you want to believe that you have taste, that's fine. it won't change the
fact that you don't. it just means you're also ignorant, or at the least
inexperienced where it comes to art, music, literature, what have you. which
isn't all that surprising, considering the tripe you clearly seem to enjoy.

simply put, she's pop diarrhea. the fact that masses of people flock to her
like the mindless, tasteless, sheep that they are, is simply proof. the only
thing she deserves credit for, is knowing how to milk the masses of their money.
for that, i do have to cede a certain amount of respect, because let's face it,
that's what passes for talent today.

in 50 years, all she'll be remembered for is her ability to play the masses with
garbage. eminen, snow, 50cent, vanilla ice, milli vanilli, the list goes on.
her only hope of actually achieving real historical noteriety, is if she pulls a
buddy holly and dies in a plane crash or something along those lines. for all
intents and purposes, she's at best, a footnote in late 20th century pop
culture, nothing more.

it's going to show on bravo tv next week. i wonder if it will be censored on
that channel. i really wish she would have stuck to hbo or showtime.

recording artist of all time and she stayed on top for over 20 years and if that
doesn't "achieve real historical noteriety" then what does? we could also talk
about her social impact but i doubt that would change anything since u are

wow, listen to all you haters. you must care a great deal to spend so much
energy to try and debase madonna. these are pretty lousy critiques. basing it
on people, those poor pathetic sheep (by the way, that reference was purely
sarcasm for your benefit), have nothing better than to ... take time to have
pleasure in something they enjoy. how dare them! sheep? lmao.

only because it differs with your opinion of culture, art, music, literature and
whatever other high-horse views you have decided are the only acceptable ones,
well, grow up. too bad. tough diarrhea pop, to loosely quote one of the less
eloquent posters. variety is what makes life interesting, thank god, i and the
rest of the world are not subjected to your dictatorial decisions on pop
culture. we are truly blessed for that.

as far as madonna, she is one of the most brilliant pr strategists in the music
industry. she once said, she was never the best singer, and by golly she was
right about that. but she is an entertainer, has more talent (don't read that
as singing) in her little ambitious pinkie, than these baseless hate posters
have in their entire body. don't like her music? don't listen. don't like her
performances? don't watch. don't like her books? don't read them. but most
importantly, don't run around with a superiority complex that you know what's
right and what's pleasurable for others. and referring to people who do as
sheep, makes you more ignorant than your assessment of those who do listen to her.

oh and by the way, i am neither her biggest fan nor her biggest detractor. she
is what she is, but i am sure, she would be most pleased to know, as she relaxes
in her grand london mansion estate, how much time and effort the haters put
forth just to get a little attention. like it or not she is a pop icon, and
will be remembered, she will not only be a footnote (in a book, not the cliche),
she already has a spot reserved in the annals of history. there is none before
her, and there will be none that will be likened to her after she is gone.

well, this was fun ;-) and, i thought the concert, she sounded eh.. kinda
awful, but i didn't watch for the singing.

i\'m always amused when criticism focuses on the one thing we will one day all
become (if we\'re fortunate): old. and that includes the poster above.
