and if you try asking me why i keep watching this if i hate it ... believe me, i
keep asking myself that exact question. guess it's the moffat episodes keeping
me going.

nope it's because somewhere deep down you want to shag catherine tate's chunky
snaggle toothed ass.
and even a "bad" episode of doctor who is ten times better than 90% of the shite
broadcast on us television.
not a great episode for sure, but the charades poison purge was pretty funny.
i'd nail catherine tate every day of the week and twice on sunday.
do you really have nothing better to do than complain about stuff? sure, it
may not have been the best ep this season but there is one like this every
season (the charles dickins and shakesphere eps for example).
be happy that your getting the show for free and that is even a single decent
sci-fi show on tv these days that isn't a carbon copy of star trek.
...if you think this was bad then i have one word for you, maybe then you'll
realise how even a bad episode of dr. who can been seen as a good one.
torchwood.
i did'nt think it was a bad episode, just like any other sci fi show it was
a "cheaper" episode inwhich all shows have.
torchwood.. i rather watch simon cowell undress.

well, if you don't do it the british way, i suppose you're going to wind up with
some poorly made shows. by "the british way", i of course mean making only a
handful of shows using all the same actors.
for anyone wanting to complain about doctor who, i have one thing to say:
download the 1996 movie! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116118/
that right there is a prime example of a bad doctor who "extended" episode....
sure, every one of the seasons since 2005 has had a number of bad eps (generally
the ones written by rtd) but in a rounded view of the show, we all still watch
it for the good episodes, the story arcs, the comedy etc.
download the move and then tell me, using sound reasoning, that you can find a
doctor who episode that sucked worse than the movie did. i highly doubt anyone
can reasonably argue that the show's bad episodes are worse than the movie was.
another really bad episode. this season has to be the worst thus far. as far
as i'm concerned we haven't had a single brilliant episode yet. hopefully
moffet will turn that around in two weeks time.
the movie was bad but even that managed to be better than the weaker episodes
we've had in the last three seasons.
i've not seen this one yet, except for the trailers with agatha christie shown briefly.
i've seen every other episode of doctor who - not just the recent 4 series, and all the movies and have
been hooked from day one. sad in't it?
some of the really old shows that were broadcast in monochrome, were really ropey but some of them
have been several magnitudes better than the colour versions.
from what i've seen of us sci-fi programmes, our tv adverts are better than most of them.. :-)
doctor who has always been aimed at a certain time slot - too late for really small children to watch on
their own, so they have a token totty to make it that dad will watch it with them. just look back at some
of the totty that has been with the doctor..
i am not usually one to meddle in other peoples tastes and shows.... but who the
fuck watches this crappy show? it is by far the worst acted, lowest budgeted,
predicatbly written show the bbc has ever made. i would rather watch the movie
"gigli" with no sound dubbed in german at 2x speed than tune in to this shite
week after week. it gives english/british television a bad reputation.

-its not sci fi
-its definitely not funny
i like this guy =d.
he's totally right - it does give british television a bad reputation. this is
the best we can spit out ... and it sucks.
