i dont wanna sound bitchy, but the notv release seemed to have a bit lower

yeah i too am waiting on the hr version, it has been out for a few days
according to nforce.nl and it's labelled as
jericho.s01e10.hr.hdtv.ac3.5.1.xvid-nbs. i'm sure it's on usenet, but i don't
have access to binary usenet groups. ah how it sucks to be poor. 😉

what you're seeing is the main plot. this show isn't about "zomg we got nuked by
teh chinese" it's about this small town of jericho and how they're coping with
being cut off from the outside world by the disaster. hence, the show is named
"jericho." that's the way i've always seen it, anyway.

why isn't this show cancelled yet? it's so fracking stupid it hurts my brain
to watch it. every time i try to watch it all i can think is, "this is 'lost'
for really, really stupid people."
the writing is about as innovative as tomato soup; the writers just don't seem
to care. in addition they treat the viewers as if they were brain dead
troglodytes incapable of figuring out even the simplest of plot twists so
there are a lot scenes where people awkwardly explaining things to other
people that should already know what they are talking about.
i want my hour back...

that's funny, because everytime i watch lost all i can think is "this is
philosophy for really, really stupid people.". everything that lost did has
already been done before. jericho may be sappy sometimes, but at least i care
about the people in it because i could see myself in that situation. i couldn't
see myself in a cryptic, making-this-up-as-we-go action-drama about polar bears
and people who like to feel smart, when in reality, we all get that locke is
john locke, wow, way to make us feel special, writers.
it's like, all lost-fans seem to be incredibly rabid about this show. lost
sucks. it sucked since the second half of season one, when the team understood
that they had a hit on their hands. so then they fill the episodes with "clues",
in reality small tidbits that make people feel smart. wow, sawyer reads
"watership down", hm, it seems like the situation they are in wow zomg i am teh
smartest!
it's like, we get that you like "lost", we get that you think lost is the
greatest since sliced bread, but fuck, man, let us have the shows that we like.
do i go into the lost-board to post how stupid the clues are, and oh, how about
the fact that nothing happens!?
i like jericho because it is a frightening scenario, and it is handled pretty
well, although cheesy at times, at least i care. the first episodes weren't too
good, but this is a show that is growing.
also, you could have said cavemen. now you just sound elitist, and it's frakking
(note the spelling) irritating.
