Busy weekend for Fox: New Amsterdam canceled!

wtf is wrong with these damn networks?

cancelling new amsterdam, back to you, aliens in america, etc... but then they
leave on liquid sh*t like survivor (let alone now broadcasting it in bloody hd)?

the fox effect[tm] in action once more.

was anyone really surprised ?

too bad.. new amsterdam wasnt that bad in my opinion :\ bit cheesy but a basic
drama-.-

well hope they will get some good drama to replace it.

i enoyed that programme. a hell of a lot better that til death, at least

i liked it to start with but it drifted in the last few eps.

some things just don't encourage advertisers to pick the slots amongst them.
and it's all about the $$$

if you don't like the networks doing that, then just don't bloody support them =p

i thought new amsterdam was a treat!! jazz throughout.
ok it got a little muddled with its flashbacks - but it
could have worked out. edit and reestablish - and leave
in the jazz and omar!! afsimcha

f**k the fox network.

they only keep the crap (i.e. til death/survivor, etc...)
and cancel all the shows i like to watch...
new amsterdam, john doe (anybody else remember that show?) they've cancelled
shows after three episodes without giving them a chance, but heap a steaming
pile of crap on the fire and they'll keep it.

as we now know, the decision to cancel new amsterdam was made yesterday by fox. while chances
may be slim there is still a possibility that regency television could find another home for the show.
however, time is in short supply as actors and crew will eventually find other work.

i think it would be worth the price of a stamp to let regency know you support the show and would like
to see more of it.

i think it's, also, advisable to let fox know - politely - that you think their decision is a mistake. i
recommend everyone giving fox a call on the viewer comment line and letting them know you want
to see more of john amsterdam on your tv screens next season.

what the hell is with these networks...

at least let f*cking tv shows finish a story plot before canceling it!

amsterdam was going great i want to see how it turns out damn it!

and back to you was good as well i was just starting to like it and then poof
it's gone now as well... im gonna stop watching season 1 of shows until 2-3
seasons are done... im sick of f*cking being disappointed

meanwhile, f*cking tyra banks gets a second reality show, as if her first one
was doing well anymore.

well, even if they give dollhouse a decent chance, by canceling new
amsterdam they've guaranteed i will be downloading anything fox *spit* airs
next season. yet another year of boycotting (this will be the 4th).

and, even though i'm not a nielsen family, i still send postcards and letters to
the above addresses every month letting them know how dissatisfied i am with
their programming and lack of commitment.

this year i will also send letters to their advertisers (i have friends who can
let me know what companies have commercials during prison break, house, and
bones) to inform them that i am unhappy (as are other viewers) and that they
might be better off spending their advertising dollars elsewhere.

no, it might not make a difference...but i will feel better for having done it.
