HDTV episode questions

im a noobie to eztv...and since i just got an hd projector i was looking into
the hd episodes of some of my shoes (unfortunately no one uploads hd the
office). i know some are hr and some are not. could someone explain this
please?? also, i know it says ac3 5.1, and i assume that when encoded to xvid,
instead od using stereo mp3 or the like ac3 5.1 was selected. my question is
this...when streaming the xvid to my xbox360 (which has to be transcoded as
xbpx360 won't play xvid/divx) will the 5.1 be preserved or mixed down to stereo.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

i would of thought someone on here would know, and let you know by now.
maybe try mininova forum.
being a new media player as well as a game console i would of thought it would
keep the true 5.1 unless you select 2ch or something.
i have never delt with xbox 360 so i can't realy help soz!.

nah, don't try mininova. half the people there can't even figure out bittorrent
let alone video stuff. try videohelp.com. somebody at ten yard torrents might
know also.
