i've only been using the rss for one day, but i'm getting the impression that
releases to the rss are delayed around 6 hours. doing so would take a lot of
load off the initial seeds, and speed up the overall distribution of the file.
i'm not sure about that, though. can anyone confirm?
no rss is automatic and immediate... check the tutorial closer
you have programed something wrong
we've checked the tutorial. you can also load the rss in either ff or ie, and
it still doesn't show this episode yet. it simply isn't listed in the rss.
riske - make sure you have added the vtv link (its about half way down the page)
i got tricked with this as well with my rss loaded in outlook. means you get
double ups of most things, but the odd one or two that doesn't come through on
eztv rss - has that helped at all? o_o
waah! waah! i expect doctor who to be on par with b5 and farscape but it's not
for the same target audience and i can't get that through my thick skull! waah!
at least doctor who isn't guys kissing every fifteen seconds like torchwood. i
mean i like torchwood, it just needs that cut back a lot.
very smart of affinity to lower the audio (which sounds the same to me) so that
the video is of better quality in a 350mb file.
great episode, thankyou very much.
i just checked the file and it seems to be 120kbps in kmplayer (seems normal for
a 350mb file) so i'm not sure what "thebishop74" is smoking.
some info of the latest episodes on eztv
dr who encoded audio 120kbps = 38.2mb of total file so 312mb for video.
lost 129kbps = 38.5mb
ncis 131kbps = 40.9mb
smallville 114kbps = 32.7mb
bones 127kbps = 39.2mb
battlestar 145kbps = 44.7mb
you need to have the proper feeds as described in the tutorial (not the
quickstup the other).
there is not delay in rss.
also to avoid doubles check the smart episode filter.
interesting, it is only on the vtv feed, the other three it is still not on. so either you were on the vtv feed
all along, or it disappeared from the other three. there is nothing wrong with my setup. i got all three via
wget and looked at the actual xml for crying out loud!
i'm not sure where eztv is getting their versions from, but the usenet affinity
rip has 96kb/s vbr audio, at 30.8mb, it sounds a bit thin, not real great.
and i'd love to release a better version, maybe when it airs here in 6 months
time i will do it, dumb ass...
where do you think all your releases come from?, it's all scene releases, and
all releases are vbr audio now, just how stupid are you.

hey douchebag what the fuck are talking about???? the episode's
sound is fine.
and no i do not listen through the speakers on my computer. the sound is great
driven through an lg 5.1 dd/dts surround system...
keep your vbr audio version to yourself. that is why it is not a scene release
here. vbr doesn't cut it. either say something useful or just go fuck yourself
bishop.
