sg-1 was cancelled for those of u who don't know. the show is probably being
shopped around but doubt it'll get picked up unless the main cast is willing to
take a pay cut. 10 years worth of pay raises prolly cost them a lot of $

cant see what the big deal is tbh, tmn has been doing this for the past 3
seaons. sci fi channel suck ass, will always do. tmn has the rights to show new
episodes of the second part of atlantis seaon, closely followed by skyone, which
incidentally is the first channel in the world to show new episodes of sg-1 from
the second part of the series.
for example tmn shows all new episodes of atlantis from x11 onwards, sky one
shows new first run episodes of sg-1 x11 before anyone else in the world.
and as one poster correctly pointed out, this is how the sci fi channel make
their money in the us.
