so is this a stand-up comedy event where comics will perform or is it just
some other sort of big get-together?
they had one of these about two years ago, and yeah it's a big stand up event.
some of the comics show up via satellite and i think some of the performances
might be taped. anyway, it was really funny a few years ago, you should watch.
ricky gervais killed in the first one.
overall, quite funny. but damn they really shouldn't have wasted four minutes
with maroon 5. i mean who won't be offended by the pure shittiness that is
maroon 5. had i been watching on tv, i most certainly would have had to turn
the channel. they should have just had the roots play a full song during that
time period.
although the premise of 'curing the epidemic of autism' is pretty funny if you
ask me, most of this event unfortunately is not. even with some fastforwarding i
wished i'd watched something else instead, not many laughs, not very good info
on autism either.
it all seemed a little rushed...kelsey grammer didnt know the lyrics to the
song at the beginning, mic,s that dont work, and a strange "forced" bid on
what i think was a car... i enjoyed it none the less.
