i give it maybe ten minutes before someone comes up with a workaround or crack
to bypass the protection... only reason why it hasn't happened already is that
it wasn't necessary while the component video output was there. 🙂
does this even matter?? "some" people who are apt to copy the free-over-air
signal already have the boxes with components.... and they're likely to be
intelligent enough to work around any "protection" added. unless they block
analog transmissions from boxes already out they're "fighting" a losing battle.
this sounds like lip service to advertisers >< i don't want to lose my hd
programming. i live across the pond 😛
