speculative spoilers!

well, i'm under the conclusion, and very much certain that lost is all about time travel. danielle's
presence on the island as a ship that crashed is probably because of dharma experiments.

it's all here:

enjoy!

i'm sorry, but this isn't tv news, it's just lost fan speculation. why is it in
the tv news section?

anyways, rousseau's not dead so it's a moot point. but yeah, this isn't tv news.

yeah must be a slow week in tv news..

all i've got to say is that to anyone who's been following the show since the
beginning, it should be obvious that the writers of lost don't know what
the fuck they're doing lately.

osmosis there is no need to alienate the fans of lost, just because you dont
like it. find some manners and what the heck are you doing on a discussion about
lost in the first place. as for anyone who is a lost fan, i think this is a
worthwhile debate. i personaly think she is alive but we wont see anymore of her
this season. and osmosis ever since the announcement of the season 6 ending of
lost, i have been convinced that the writers do know what the fuck they're
doing, and come the end lost fans will be laughing at people like you.

as stated before, this isn't news. therefore shouldn't be in the news section.
it also isn't a discussion about lost, as it is in the news section. and
grantoholsy, why so sensitive? i didn't see osmosis alienating anyone nor
actually saying they don't like the show, simply pointing out that all the crap
"news" being posted must mean its a slow week. you state yourself, that ever
since the s6 ending announcement the writers know what they are doing, implying
that you agree that before that point it seems like they didn't.

and by the way.. lost fans will be laughing about what?!?!? the fact their
show has ended? o_o i'm confused.

the original poster posited the question of the freighties killing all the
inhabitants of the island.

i don't believe this to be the case for a number of reasons, not the least of
which was future hurley telling jack that they have to go back and that they
should never have left them there. i take that to mean that the 6 left the
island for some as yet unnamed reason. why would hurley want to go back if they
weren't alive?

this also leads me to suspect that jin is not dead either and that some sort of
bargain was reached about who would go, and that because of the fact that sun
would die if she stayed she was selected to go back...maybe by some popular
vote. perhaps the boat could only take 6 people back, and so the rest had to stay.

they have also been lying all along about there being only the 6 or so of them
left alive after the crash.

and also, ben seems to be very angry about something more than just the invasion
of the island. so perhaps alex gets killed at some point. which, knowing ben
would throw him for a loop and would make him want to get sayid to kill the bad
guys. i really do think ben cares for alex so i can't really see him sending
them into an ambush. and if alex gets killed then maybe rousseau is dead,
because i can't really see her letting that happen. it does seem kinda funny
that she pretty much just walked into a bullet. i think she would know better
than that. there is something up with that. maybe it is some kind of "reverse"
ambush...freighties get alex, but rousseau is protected somehow and inturn picks
of the freightlies one by one, that sort of seems to be up ben's alley.

i believe they should stop pissing about & end it already. theres so many balls
in the air they could only get out of it by doing something stupid like a dallas
flash back or something.

it would take at least four to five episodes to tie the whole ting up from polar
bears to weird men in shacks that keep appearing let alone 50 feet monsters &
clouds of smoke with religious images in them.

it's gone to far.

who cares if she's dead or alive... i hope she's dead, so the show can move on
to better things/ she's just too insignificant...

a bit slow arent you nicnac. is it really that difficult to read between my
lines. i have always believed that the writers have a plan, i was merely stating
that the season 6 ending announcement only confirmed that for me and proves that
they are working towards a planned end game. and when the ending proves to be
mindblowing and insanely clever all the lost fans will be laughing at those who
claimed it would be a joke. anything else i need to spell out for you.

when it comes to this show i'm truly "lost" at it's ratings

someone want to tell me why it's so popular?

im suprised there hasnt been more of a discussion on this topic, as (imo)
the article was written really well (thank you to the author 🙂).

ive been a fan of lost since the pilot episode but have found that the
writers new format of ~16 eps/season until season 6 ends it all has been
kinda shitte. i liked the slow reveal of secrets and the ~25 episodes/season
of previous season with episodes that didnt reveal much, it made the show
more enjoyable and less intense. i must agree that there is a mountain of
stuff that the writers have to answer for and every new episode doesnt seem
to be tieing old loose ends but rather creating new ones.

as for the danielle questions, i completely agree that she shouldnt die and
should at least have an entire episode to herself to answer for all the stuff
shes been up to on the island, she couldnt have been doing nothing for the
past 16 (lost) years...

well thats me on my soapbox, we will just have to wait until the answers are
(hopefully) all revealed at the last episode of the last season.

i honestly can't imagine there actually being *any* answer that would be satisfactory.

it's the world's longest version of a certain type of tease, and i can only wonder how the climax could
possibly live up to the hype and the anticipation after all the, uh, teasing.

i gave up on lost at the start of season 2. everyone else i know has slowly dropped off too. but i was first.

i'll see you all in 2010 when you're going "but, what was with the *thing*" and "i thought the *thing* was
*thing*". i'll be the one asking "so... was it good for you?"

the second season was bad? lol i thought the first season was mediocre at best

but then again i thought deal or no deal was the worst crap ever and just look
how popular that was.
