There is an alarming report of thieves wielding machetes in order to steal the keys to a BMW in London and the chase spills onto Northamptonshire's patch and all units head to the M1. But just as the cops are about to pounce, the bad guys slip through a gap in traffic and escape on the hard shoulder.
